CREP Africa Commends Ketu North MP Scholarship Initiative
The CREP Africa has welcomed the upcoming awards ceremony under The Ketu North Scholar, an initiative by the Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Eric Edem Agbana.
The event will take place in Dzodze on Sunday, March 22, 2026, to honour 400 students who have been selected for the second batch of beneficiaries after a careful screening process.
Since it started in 2025, the programme has supported over 300 students with scholarships worth more than GH¢1.3 million. It continues to give hope to many brilliant but needy students in the constituency.
This year alone, 786 students applied, showing how important and impactful the initiative has become.
CREP Africa also notes the presence of distinguished guests who will grace the occasion, including Obuobia Darko-Opoku, Kwame Asare Obeng (A Plus), Albert Kwabena Dwumfour, and Julius Neequaye Kotey.
CREP Africa believes initiatives like this go a long way to support education and reduce the burden on families. It is also a strong step towards building a better future for the youth.
The organisation commends Hon. Agbana for this effort and encourages others to support similar initiatives.
